Mr. Rogers graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis). He is registered as a Professional Engineer in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, New York, and South Carolina. Mr. Rogers has engineering consulting experience in various areas of practice, including civil and structural design, cause and origin/construction defect analysis, premises liability as well as crane design and operation.

Mr. Rogers has performed approximately two thousand engineering investigations for insurance companies, law firms, construction firms, and property owners. His expertise includes building envelopes, foundations, and structural design/analysis of residential, commercial, and municipal facilities; hydrologic analysis; storm sewer, roadway, and subdivision design; design, operation and maintenance practices for cranes and lifting structures; and pedestrian falls at residential, commercial and municipal facilities.

Mr. Rogers has qualified as an expert witness in federal and state courts the field of structural engineering, forensic engineering and civil engineering. He has published and presented a technical paper on structural damage due to flood forces, served as a peer reviewer of technical guidance documents and has given continuing education seminars on various engineering topics to the engineering, legal, and insurance industry.
